The Weald's fungal colonies don't stay rooted — the Fungal Scratcher is the colony made ambulatory, spreading spores through claw wounds that begin rotting the host before the fight ends.

Tactics
Fungal Scratchers apply Blight reliably and can do so from multiple ranks. They're fragile but numerous — expect them in groups. Blight on the party stacks fast when two or three are active; a Plague Doctor's Battlefield Medicine buys crucial turns. Bleed does not work on fungal creatures; use direct damage or Blight.
