+ Strengths

  • Two stress heals (Crusader Inspiring Cry + Houndmaster Cry Havoc) plus Vestal HP sustain — the longest-run comp in the base game
  • MAA Guard + Crusader front makes the first rank effectively un-killable in most fights
  • Cry Havoc at Lv5 is arguably the single best AoE stress heal available

Weaknesses

  • Crusader and Vestal both block the Abomination
  • No burst — fights are long and safe, never fast
  • Houndmaster is weak at Lv0 — the comp doesn't click until he's Lv3+

How to play

MAA Bolsters on turn 1, Vestal heals whoever is lowest, Crusader stuns or smites the front rank, Houndmaster marks the highest priority target. Starting turn 2, Houndmaster alternates Hound's Harry (backline bleed chip) and Cry Havoc (whenever any hero crosses 50 stress). The comp's core rule: heal stress proactively, not reactively — between Cry Havoc and Inspiring Cry the party has enough throughput to keep everyone under the affliction line, but only if you spend the turns early. On Long runs, MAA camps Weapons Cleaning + Tactics; Houndmaster camps Dog Treats for the accuracy stack; Crusader camps Zealous Speech to pre-heal stress before the second room.

Good in
